Default P0732 & p1790

I recently experienced slipping after shifting so I checked for TCM codes (had no check engine light at the time). The codes are P0732 (gear ratio error in 2nd) and P1790 (fault immediately after shifting). For most driving situations, the transmission shifts beautifully and smooth. When I start driving more aggressive, then these errors will surface. I will check transmission level tomorrow morning.

What are the steps to diagnose this issue? I am hoping that overdrive clutch are in good condition.

BUMP! Since the post, I have 3 codes from transmission, which it is P0731, P0732, and P1790. I have checked the fluid level this morning and it is at perfect level. i have noticed that dipstick tube is crooked and hard to put the dipstick back in without the help of pliers to push in fully.

The truck will actually stall during first start and into either reverse or drive gear. If it doesn't stall, then it takes time for transmission to engage into gear. Am I looking into a new transmission or filter incorrectly installed?

I'm having the same issues with my 04 Ram 5.7L 2WD Automatic. Ram dies out about 3-6secs after start up, It'll run well if kept above idle and or moving on highway. Hope the experiemced and the Techies get you answers.
