Default I want to install inline fuel check

I want to install an inline fuel check valve in the line leading up to the fuel rail. Where in the line should I install it?

I am mostly having trouble figuring out which line it is. So a picture would be greatly appreciated.

And is it 5/16 or 3/8 line?

I have 2005 dodge ram 1500 5.7L

Shouldn't need to, what are you trying to fix?

Yeah, why would you want to put a check valve in? If you have a real problem, you'll want to address that.

I just got done putting in a tank unit in a 2001 Ram 1500 with 5.9 liter. Couple hour job taking your time Cured the problem of not having stored fuel pressure. Owner had to turn key on n off 3 times before cranking to build up pressure. New carter pump cured the pressure issue
