I understand most people want to swap a manual in there auto trucks instead of selling theirs for a manual that does exist. However dodge never made a 2500 MC Laramie 4x4 Hemi manual, just an automatic. I do absolutely love my fully load MC and would like to not sell for a diesel, I have a nice 95 12v Cummins manual and have no interest in going back to computer controlled diesels. In fact I replaced my 2015 ED with a 12v. My trans is going out and I have found some pretty decent 2500 hemi manuals to use as a doner truck for all the parts required. My main question I have is can I only swap from an 07-09 truck do to the tipm? Or should a computer system from 03-06 work just fine with my tipm
? Any help would be appreciated, I understand it would be a project and obviously a decent amount of money for a doner. As Ive said this truck works great for the purpose it serves I just know if im going to keep the truck the 545RFE has to go. Thanks for the info if yall have any.
