Default Rear end swap

Hey guys I have a 06 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd with the 5.7 in it. I’m curious if I could put a rear end from a 03 5.7 2wd in it and be ok?

It should fit, do you know the part numbers of both axles?
Gear ratio of new rear will need to be same as front axle.
Be sure to get an anti-spin/LSD rear if you can.

Yes, as long as the rear speed sensor is in the same place. At some point in the later 3rd gen run they moved it from the top of the diff to the hubs.
