Losing brake fluid

Default Losing brake fluid

Dads 2005 5.7 Ram is losing brake fluid from the attached photo.Right next to the battery. I dont know a lot about cars so im unsure what its called or how to fix it. Thanks

I would guess thats the abs block. Is it leaking from the line, line/fitting, fitting/block? Could try to tighten it a little and see if it helps. If not then need to replace whatever is leaking.

I recommend wiping the area down with a cloth then getting it dry with brake cleaner. Have someone press on the brake while you watch for the leak. You'll need to know the source of the leak before you can fix it.
