Rear end locked up
My 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 5.7 hemi 2x4 rear end locked up. I found a 2002 Dodge Ram Lariat with all the parts I need cheap. My question is will the drive line, rear end & gas tank fit in my 08. Also how do I tell what ratio and if my rear end is electric or not. I really appreciate the help.

Anyways, unless it's a 2008 1500 Megacab the rear ends will swap over. Standard Chrysler 9.25
No electric lockers, clutch pack LSD style. Garbage rear ends, clutch pack c-clips break and chew the housing apart. Take the 2002 rear end in and get a Detroit truetrac installed. Many of those are open diff too, those are better to use as a starting point to put a Detroit in since they don't have the possibility of being chewed up already.
