Working on an '08 1500 Hemi. The truck currently has a single CD REF stereo, I have a six CD RAQ to install in it. I'm hoping it'll be a straight up swap with no surprises. But, since there are computers involved...

Anyways, I'd appreciate any input on this.

 

Did you get this project finished yet? I took out my factory unit and installed a double din with 6.5 screen for back up camera.
wasnt that difficult, just had to remove tray underneath and shave a little on the sides.
i would suspect near the same for your needs

 

I haven't been able to start on it yet. Between work, Dr. appoint's, & life there just hasn't been time.
