What sensor did you replace. I have the same lights that randomly come on for a second, I didnt get it scanned yet but I'm just curious what it could be. OBDII keeps history code so if the light came on and went off there should still be a code for what caused it to come on, right? Hopefully or I'm never going to get a code because the light literally flashes for a second and is gone, and its completely random.

No luck with the sensor. $42 down the drain.

Off to the dealership

That's why I suggested to buy a $3 can of CRC Electronics cleaner and clean it.

I now suggest that you do the key trick and see what the ODBII code is. DO a search and you'll find it.

Same thing happened to my 03 QC. As posted by another DF member it was infact the "rear wheel speed sensor" very easy to replace and not too expensive

if that dealer wont fix it take it to another dealer kicking and screaming. if you just clicked over your warranty they should honor it

Thats most likely the rear wheel speed sensor. No big deal! I would suggest, if you are mechanically inclined, fix it yourself. The dealership charges WAY too much to TCO this $40.00 item.

Did you stop to think that perhaps your brake pads are worn down to the point where some extra brake fluid has gone into the brake lines, to make up for the lack of pad...

And thus the overall fluid level in the resovoir has dropped to such a point that the brake lights have come on???

I have 40,000 km's on my truck, and I just had the same problem with the brake lights coming on... :P
Got my brakes done, and now the light went away...
