07 Manual Swap
Hey guys, I have a 2007 Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins and I wanna put a manual trany in it. Does anyone know about how much it'd cost to do this? (I'm looking for both the transmission price itself and the labor to have it done, as I may end up doing it myself.) Thanks

Here's what to my knowledge the truck has:
- Clutch hole
- I think? there's a blanking plate for the shifter pass through but it might need to be cut.
- No screw holes for the parts, the hole exists but the screw holes/bolt holes must be made.
There's also manual valve bodies for the cummins automatic so you can have tap shift but i've not found good info on them.
Your text color isn't set to black and is hard to read but that's something else. First of all the price will vary on new or reman/etc or junkyard. Then there's also the case of the TIPM has to be changed to my knowledge and you need another TCM unless that's included in the TIPM they did so many changes these final 3rd gen years I get lost. I was going to try this on my jeep so i'm not super experienced with the truck but i do own a your year truck and i did do some digging.

I would be buying the trany new, I don't wanna have any problems with it
