Default Transmission Health Check Up?

Is there a way to check and monitor automatic transmission vitals?

Things that may start to indicate a transmission failure ahead of time. like low pump pressure or anything else?

You can put a T-fitting a line and install a temp sensor and dash gauge. Not sure of anything you can do as an early warning system aside from that. Personally, I just go with checking my fluid with the dipstick, noting color too. Single drain and fill every 25-30K, and filter change once in a blue moon. See what's at the bottom of pan and on magnet Lots of metal is never a good sign. About 323K mi on my 545RFE now and she still shifts like new.
