Default Can a TIPM crash?

So my electrical system has been going entirely dead alot more recently and only fixes itself when i disconnect the battery for a few seconds and reconnect it. Usually it dies when i go to start but it happened once when running and another time just sitting. Is it possible for the TIPM to crash or something since it is a computer. It's not the battery or anything as it starts up in 3-5 seconds sitting for a day or two and 1-2 when its been ran recently with no hesitation and good voltage. When it crashed once when running it came back a few seconds later and went into 4wd then out of 4wd without me having to do anything. It was also sudden. I say crashing because well... This is like a computer or programming crashing and restarting.

When i get money i'm going to have it sent in for repair due to canbus pulsing every 40 seconds no matter what but is this something TIPM as well or something else.
