Default 2006 24v loses power at 3/4 throttle

Hey guys, I have an 06 24v stock w/ 120k miles that has been loosing power around 3/4 throttle. I push the pedal to 3/4 it instantly looses power and dumps a bunch of black smoke. Once I take my foot of the pedal and wait about on second the power comes back and I can cruise again. Doesn't matter if I'm coming from a stop or at highway speeds. Other than that the truck runs fine, nothing out of the norm. I have tried resetting the APPS with no luck. Does anyone know what the ohms range for the pedal sensor is? Figured if I check the resistance on the sensor it might show an issue. Any other ideas are also welcome. Thanks!
