I am looking to change my timing chains and associated parts.
I have a 2006 ram 1500 4.7 Magnum
There are many kits available at a range of prices.
Any preferences or warnings that I should know about before I choose?

 

DO NOT SKIMP. If you can get a Cloyes brand set. The timing chain cam sprocket water pump all inclusive kits on China bay for a 150 bucks is just that a 150 dollar set. junk.

 

Melling is another good brand. Are you replacing just chains and guides, or doing sprockets also?
