So after figuring out what I believe is a skim issue I was wondering if there is a way to just bypass or somehow wire up the skim wires to make the pcm think that there is a skim module plugged in. I am still very green so dont come at me to hard, but from my understanding pretty much everything is just a measure of an amount of voltage so if the wires for the skim module plug are just looking for certain voltage or time of voltage cant I just wire those wires to another module or something along the lines so it does think it's all good? I hope that makes sense I have had very little sleep trying to figure out this issue and if you read my other posts you might have a better understanding of my issue.
I will state that after reading more and more I believe that when I bought a used pcm I believe it had a skim modulr in the truck it was in but my key Is a black key so I never had had the skim module but when I plugged it in and tried to start it it did die after a few seconds and I believe I made a rookie mistake of tampering with my skim settings in hp tuners so I will admit It is my fault which was preventable but it is what it is and I'm hoping it can be bypassed. Thanks
