Sudden no start with Thunderbolt trouble light. 2005 Ram 1500
2005 Ram 1500 4x4 5.7.
Replaced battery three weeks ago, fuel pump and water pump replaced recently. Drove truck home from restaurant night before. Next morning, turns over. but no sound of kicking over.... does not start. Checked all fuses and relays. Spray starting fluid in kicks over and runs momentarily. tried battery disconnect reset...nothing. checked all wires/connectors. Replaced with new throttle body. nothing. Just not very excited about towing to dealer...please help.

Crankshaft or Camshaft position sensor.
Crankshaft sensor is tucked in under your alternator. You can see it looking from passenger side. I'd replace that first as it is easy to do and most likely culprit.

Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. I know you said you replaced the pump, but you might want to test the fuel pressure. The testers are available for rent... free when you return em.
