07 ram 1500 5.7 2WD p0934,p3425,ABS
2007 Dodge ram 1500 SLT, 5.7L 2WD
1. P0934: Hydraulic Pressure Sensor Circuit Low
2. P3425: Cylinder 4 Deactivation/Intake Valve Control Circuit/Open
3. ABS Light and brake light always on and off.
I believe all of this is electrical related. I bought this from a dealership last year and after about 6 months I started having serious electrical issues and stalls and transmission problems.
It started off with only the Bank 2 knock sensor throwing a code, then ABS and Brake light started coming on, then my truck shut down one morning and I could not get it to go into any gear.
I replaced transmission fluid, sump pump filter, twist on filter. Started right back up and shifted very bad at first then improved. I started getting a code p0868, and P0934. I replaced the Transmission pressure sensor and P0868 went away but I still have p0934. I noticed the same wires going to the pressure sensor was also going to the knock sensor and sure enough I found some bad wire. repaired the wire and knock sensor code went away but I still have P0934. I also noticed where its a common thing on these trucks, the wire harness rubs on the coolant line, My truck looks like it has been rewired in this spot and also the nearest wire harness junction by the PCM has a purple wire cut and replaced this wire harness junction is also missing its red lock clip and therefore it was becoming loose over time. I get 5v with ignition on at the pressure sensor. I believe ill need to run a transmission simulator to figure this one out or keep physically checking for bad wire. any tips or suggestions? I don't know if MDS problem is directly related to my pressure sensor problem or not. I do believe that its a PCM or wiring problem. I used a relatively good scanner recently and found some other funny codes. I do not have these codes on hand. This was not my scanner. but it was. (Brake fluid level is low), but it is not. (Electrical issue with rear ABS circuit), and (High Voltage). I checked my regulator and it seems to be okay. I replaced my rear wheel speed sensor and that did not fix it. Please help direct me on where to go from here, doing electrical testing. I want to know if the ABS on this truck is active or passive. As I understand it, I can test the OHMS on passive sensors but Not active. I have 12 volts going down to my rear wheel speed sensor. Thanks for any help.
