4X4 Linkage 2003 1500 Ram
Guys - putting this here due to the 4x4 Linkage being closed - pardon if wrong spot
Hey all - newbie here ...
great post - however, I must be using the wrong 5/8 spacer and turnbuckle - I have a 2003 1500 RAM 5.7L - I bought all the items and followed the directions - ran into issues:
1. the spacers won't fit into the turnbuckle without pounding it in then it deforms and can't use and squeezes the 1/2 bolt so you can't remove it - the spacer becomes stuck the the turnbuckle and must be pound back out
2. the spacer won't fit into the holes of transfer case or the shifter holes - is the 1500 different than the 2500 and 3500 for the sizes?
now, what I did do was to cut the one spacer and tried to make things line up but, seems a little off .... I can get the shifter to 4L, N, and 2H .... but, she won't drop into 4H - thinking just alittle off is what is making it not go into the 4H ....
thoughts?
