Default Help with timing

I have a 2005 ram 1500. When I bought the truck the guy told me it just had new timing kit installed, well long story short it didn't after all . My question is when I took the timing cover off I noticed there was no bolt in the idler sprocket. Is there suppose to be one . Everything I found online says there is and it's supposed to be torque to 25 ft/lbs. Could this be the reason it's not running right Andi have lifter rattle, oh and it's a 4.7l by the way

Yeah it should have a bolt. Here is a pretty good video on getting things all lined up... the link starts at the bolt you asked about, but be sure to watch the whole thing
