Default Loose steering

Greetings,
I have an 07 Ram 1500 V6 3.7 rwd with loose steering. I saw this and thought this may be the issue since the tie rod ends didn’t look to bad. Problem is I don’t know what this part is. Can you help me out?

Those are your upper and lower ball joints. Loose ball joints can definitely result in steering play and your wheels will wander. If the steering play is noticeable, then it is also dangerous. You should replace your ball joints right away.
Are you noticing any uneven wear on your tires?

Did you actually lift the front wheels off ground and check for play? Wheels on ground it’ll be hard to find play
