Default ECM/PCM Issue 2006 2500 5.9 24V

Hey everyone,

I have an 06’ 2500 5.9 24V that’s giving me issues. About a year ago I sent it to a dodge dealership with it showing a ECM/PCM and fuel delivery system code. The dealership charged me to redo my entire fuel system. About a month after having it, it started giving me issues again. When I checked the receipt, they did nothing to address the ECM code. Just that I had stated that the ECM code was showing. I bought brand new batteries and my issues persisted. The issue being that when I would come to a stop, the truck would act like it’s dying, then dump fuel and want to accelerate into the intersection. Eventually it got so bad I couldn’t even drive it down the street. The dodge dealership wouldn’t help me since they’re in Virginia and I’m in Louisiana now. So, I tried to fix it myself. I bought a new ECM and replaced it myself, but now it won’t start. It cranks and sounds like it wants to start, but it just keeps cranking.

Any advice? I thought I might have to get the key reprogrammed, but the company I bought the computer from said I bought it from said I shouldn’t have to. So I’m at a loss.

Thanks in advance,

TH

Did you return the old one? If not, swap and make sure it starts with the old one - then take your beef to the vendor.
