Lamp out indicator nightmare
2004 Ram 2500 Hemi.
Mid way through a trip the lamp out indicator went on. Checked my lights and they're all messed up.
On low beam the right headlight will come on.
On high beam the left headlight will come on.
Turn signals don't work.
Only one running light works.
Brake light on the other side works.
I've checked the bulbs and they test ok. Fuses all test ok.
I've heard the Front Control Module can cause this. Went to a salvage yard and tried to find one. Of 8 trucks, 6 were missing, 1 was there, but all mounting screws gone (been salvaged already) and 1 truck was still intact. Took the module, but my truck is still doing the same thing.
Heard there was a reset near the light switch behind the dash, but couldn't find one.
Running out of ideas ...

Just last night I watched a YouTube video of "Scanner Danner" working on a Dodge Charger with a bad ground. The weird reaction of the lights could be because they are finding a ground through another light circuit.
The whole video is good but watch the last 10 mins of the video to get the detailed explanation.

Mines 2004 1500 3.7.
Lost both low beams.
Now only 1 high beam works.
I've got to figure out a way to hot wire my low beams or the cops will catch me.
And I'm no good with wires.
Some people on a car guru page are having luck with removing the FCM with the battery connected, cleaning up the flat terminals, then reinstalling it with shims (small washers) between the FCM and the plastic TIPM box.
Some have luck if they just shim just the bottom screws, others with all 4.
One guy said to slightly twist the flat terminals to make better contact.
(I'd be cautious of that one)
Good luck.
