have codes b1a25 and b1a08, this happened to my wife after coming out of the store. had to have truck towed. she said it would crank and run for a couple seconds then die. after a few times trying to start the truck would no longer crank. i have removed the iod fuse and replaced it this did not let it crank. i disconnected batteries for 20 minutes this also had no effect. i can start the truck with the aftermarket remote start and then install key and drive it just fine. does this sound like a bad skreem or should i be looking at wiring? the key batteries have both been replaced at this point. please help it is hard to find usefull info on this topic.

 

Both keys don't work? Look into your RKE, I believe in 08 they were still being jammed into the back side of the cluster.

Unfortunately, any sort of servicing will require a more expensive scan tool to program the keys.
