Default 07 ram 1500 4.7L radio/ speakers not working

Full disclosure: a friend helped wire it. Worked great for years. 10" kicker wired to work with original radio manifold or display. Had a few people look at it after installation and said he did a clean job....cool. However my son spilled juice on the amplifier. Everything still worked fine but the OJ was creating smell after a day in the heat. I pulled everything apart and cleaned it well. Called him back up to reconnect everything and when he did there was a loud SCREECH! He disconnected something and we still had some sound out of back passenger door speaker. Pulled off door panel and the speaker was hot to touch. We removed that speaker and now have no radio or a spot to start the fix. PLEASE HELP. 🙏

Sounds like your amplifier is Toast. And could have taken your speakers also.

Everything is pulled concerning his installation. Can I get the radio to work assuming 3/4 main speakers are good? Or how can I troubleshoot this? Thanks for the reply. Not concerned with sub and amp really anymore, just stock tunes.
