I have a 06 dodge Ram 1500 slt quad cab 4x4 5.7 that i bought new. I’ve replaced the e brake shoes once before but went to do a check on them and were not locking into the rotor. I replaced all 4 cables and adjusted them at the wheel to no evail. At my Witt’s end I noticed that the shoes I had seemed to small for the rotor. Did a search and found out there are 2 different sizes of shoes for the Ram. A 7.08 and a 8.1. Well I had put on the wrong size when I replaced last time. So I read a lot of members with issues on this very subject so I thought I would post it and hopefully help anyone with the same issue.
