Fuel Pump Size/Model

So, looks like a failing pump on my '03 Ram.
I went to the parts site I use and asks which of 3 wheel base sizes it is, then 26gal or 35gal.
All stickers in my door jam are gone, previous owner repainted and removed those. VIN though, I used on this site and another.
Other site www.free-vin-decoder.com says 26gal. No wheel base.
This site, asks me to "narrow down by style" and has 4 options, but only 2 wheelbase sizes, 140.5" and 160.5". I think 140.5" because 6.25ft box not the 8ft. But shows 26/35gal for tank size.
2003 Dodge Ram 4x4 5.7l hemi, 6.25ft box, quad cab, I think SLT (few badges missing as well).
Would it be the 26gal 140.5"?

My best suggestion at this stage, to be 100% sure, is to drop the tank, remove the fuel pump and match the exact pump that’s installed (or cross match the p/n if it’s on the old pump).
Or, you can calculate the quantity:
If you can’t find your owner’s manual or are more of a DIY person, you can get a measuring tape and a calculator to calculate your gas tank’s volume. To do so:

- Measure the length, width, and height of your tank then multiply these numbers.
- Divide the product by 231 to convert the measurement from cubic inches to gallons.
- Also, SLT came with a 26 gal tank while the ST was 35. If you have tilt steering and power windows/locks, it’s an SLT and a 26 gallon tank.

Must be the SLT then, has all those functions. Also, had no idea you could still get vehicles with non-power windows/locks or tilt steering. Last few cars I had were base models and those all had those features. ![Big Grin](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Then again, those weren't Dodge... heck this thing doesn't even have an air filter for the cabin. 4x4 work truck designed for driving down dirt roads and farmer's fields and no filter... dash has a constant layer of dust on it.
