I had Progressive. until I realized they were over charging me. After being with them for a while they will increase your rates, while giving new customers cheap rates. When you ask if you can get the lower rates they say no. So I left. Even got money out of a class action lawsuit due to their business practices...

I tend to avoid Progressive due to their FAR left-wing political contributions.
For those in the military (or retired) check out USAA. It a non-profit company. Each insurer is a shareholder and end of year profits are distributed into and account in your name. You occasionally get disbursments and if you quit USAA, you get what's in your account. I pay $75 per month (yes old married guy), and that's with a wife and son on the policy who have each had a major (at fault) accident within the last 2 years. My insurance is about 40% higher than it would be without the accidents.
Record Breaker
State Farm - ~$180.00/mo. - NC
1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager - Full Coverage/$250Ded. - $50/mo.
1984 Dodge Ram D150 (0-60 In 7.5 Seconds) - Liability/Damage/$250Ded. - $30/mo.
16 Year-Old Son (Drives The Ram Like A Bat Outta Hell) - $100+/mo.

Won't even consider Progressive, due to their communist political contributions.
I pay about $65/mo on Truck for full coverage (something like $300 ded), though wife is listed as primary driver (80% of the mileage). We are ~35, married, kids, clean records

Dude, Shut up, that's cheap for RI. My insurance depends on where my truck is located. Out here in SoCal about $250 a month, back home in Rhode Island I pay about $400 a month. 22 years old on a 2005 Ram with a clean driving record.ORIGINAL: RamIt
