Default New motor doesn’t have EGR, will it work?

Hey guys, I’m about to swap my 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7 for a new remanufacured motor because mine spun a bearing. My truck has egr and I just realized the new motor does not. What do I need to do to make this work? I know there is an egr delete ki. What all needs to be done?

You can physically delete the EGR, but it has to be deleted in the tune and you will play hell trying to find a tuner who is willing to disable an emissions control after the last couple years of EPA crackdowns. To make it work would require drilling out the port (and likely the bolt holes as well) in the passenger head (look at your old engine).
