I have a 03 ram 1500 with a 4.7L 4x4 that takes spells and dies randomly whether your driving or idling. When it dies it will not even attempt to start back unless you recycle the key. Any ideas would be appreciated... I have changed the fuel pump, camshaft sensor, the ignition switch... Looking for help. No codes pop up when it does it and when it dies u can pat the throttle and hear it attempt chuggin through the intake before it completely dies.

 

In my 30 years of being a mechanic, I never encountered such a thing, I really appreciate the advice you saved me a huge headache . Damn Chrysler and their electrical issues.

On my 02 , 4.7 I found the Throttle Position Sensor bad. It took all of 5 minutes to replace it. 👍
