Default Shortie Plug Wires
So I have a 2004 Ram 5.7L and am currently running the MSD Coils and MSD 8.5MM Long Plug Wires, can I just switch them to the shortie MSD Wires from the 06 Models? Or is there more required.

I want to use these!

But I'm running these Right now

06+ models don't use shorty wires, they use dual coil packs. Yes, you can use the shorty wires. Will look like this:



If you actually want the 2006+ style, find a good set of 06-08 valve covers and 8 coil packs, get the pigtail adapters and do this:
