I have an 08 ram 1500 2wd and i was wanting to replace the front struts since it rides like **** but all i see online is struts for 4wd models. Would 4wd struts fit my 2wd? Are they different? Different ride height?

 

I would bet 50/50 that they are the same but I'd hate to tell you wrong. Is it a strut/coil in one setup, sometimes the 2wd used a coil and separate shock setup. Im not for sure one your exact year. I did do some minor parts looking and I was hitting the same issue on sites like rock auto, 4wd only.

 

There's a reason for that lol.....have you not actually pulled the wheel off and LOOKED at your front suspension lol? Obviously the answer is no, or you would have already figured out that you do not have struts, no 3rd gen 2wd does. Coil springs with separate shocks.
