Torsion bars
Alright, I've found varying responses to this...
Aside from a stiffer ride, will cranking the torsion bars have any negative effect on the truck? I've read about premature CV failure? Is this true? Will it cause any damage that won't be covered under warranty? I really want to lift the truck (I'll have a bit of money coming in a few months), but don't want to void the warranty. So, it looks like turning the torsion bars is the quicker and less expensive solution.

Anytime that you change the angle it will have a negative effect assuming that the factory set it up at the optimum angle. How much faster your joints will wear out is a question that I have never found an exact answer for.
