Are all 16 lifters the exact same?

Default Are all 16 lifters the exact same?
When I removed the passenger side lifters, I found that I could use the pushrod and compress the end of only 4 lifters. The other 4 are solid.

is that an obvious problem?

I believe it depends on whether or not the truck has MDS. From what I’ve read, if it has MDS then there are different lifters for the non-mds cylinders.
