Default Rear Dome Light
Why does my rear dome light not come on unless I manually push it? I swear it used to come on with an open door. Thanks!

I'd start with the basics. Check the battery health, and bulb as well. I do recall that the rear dome should come on when the doors are open.

battery is great. I keep my truck and car on 1A maintainers. My truck has an optima battery that’s about a year old. Are the map lights the same bulb? I’ll just swap one out and see if it fixes

I would think they're the same, but I don't fully remember. The plastic covers just pop right off on the map & dome lights.

I'll take a Quick Look today and let you know what happens. If it doesn’t work, then we’ll go from there.
