Default 2002 Ram 4.7L to 5.7L conversion

Greetings,
Ok i hope that you guys can help me especially T-Muns and HemiDak-Quad. I am working on doing a full 5.7L engine swap on my old 2002 Ram 1500 4.7L 4x4 using a donor 5.7L engine and a 2003 Ram 2500 5.7L 2wd truck for wiring. Now i already know that my truck HAD the JTEC PCM with TCM in it and the 2003 donor had the NGC PCM installed with TCM, but what i am finding now is with my 4.7L transmission the truck is trying to find the transmission range sensor and giving me the boxes around my PRNDL display in the dash. I already know i am going to have some issues with this particular swap due to the differences in transmissions and also the JTEC and NGC changes but i am swapping the harnesses between both trucks to try and mitigate the wiring issue. My question is how do i get around this problem before setting the engine in place and really getting hard to change things

UPDATE,

I found the issue for my problem, basically without the engine in place, and it's two grounds hooking everything together the transmission freaked out not knowing what gear the truck was in. I just ran a couple grounding wires one from the body to the trans then the other from the frame to the trans and everything started acting like it was supposed to. I hope that once all this is figured out my truck runs ok with the 5.7L in it but we shall see once everything is put back into the truck
