Question 136A vs. 160A swap - compatibility and safety

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7 liter hemi. Would it be safe to swap out stock 136A alternator for a 160A alternator? Will it be safe or get too hot? Thanks!

you can drop a 300a in there or higher and not cause issues. The rating is what it's rated to deliver, but it doesn't just make all that power whenever for no reason.
