every 45RFE trans i see has a black wiring harness connection on the solenoid pack, the pack that came out of my truck was white, it’s a 2002 ram 1500 4.7, from the factory it has a 45RFE, the sticker with the numbers on the trans got washed off, so idek what trans it is, i bought the wrong year solenoid pack bc i don’t think it mattered and it had a white connection, so idk if i bought the correct valve body/solenoid pack and its just faulty, OR there’s some crazy in between year and model that has a white connection on a 2002 45RFE, i’m also unsure if this is the OG trans, what do i do now

 

The white connector solenoid pack is the updated version. They're all interchangeable, the 45RFE is identical to the 545RFE. In fact, if you find a Jeep TCM from 2003 you simply swap it and gain an extra overdrive gear.
