Default Possible to replace fixed rear window with sliding rear window?

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was anyway to replace the rear fixed window in my 03 Reg Cab with a sliding rear. Anyone go through this yet? I can't stand when i have people in the back and i can't talk to them An its REALLY annoying to have to stop the truck and get out to grap a beer from the back! j/k

sure it can be done...a friend of mine had his back glass smashed out and did it

and I asked the dealer about it when I got my truck and they said it can be done....I forget how much, but it's something that the dealer can do

There may be aftermarket, too. It could be worthwhile to check with camper shell dealer. One put a slider in the Dakota we had--of course it was manual and not power.

Good luck.

I'd definitely suggest aftermarket cause the dealer will screw you. And stick with the manual. In a regular cab, you don't have to reach far. I'm still waiting for the day I can get a power one for my QC. My arms can't stretch that far anymore, haha.
