Well, I have 4000 miles on my new Ram and recently I have noticed an intermittent vibration that was defiantly coming from the drivetrain. Since I get the first oil change for free from the dealer I would have them check the vibration while it was there.. Well they just called and said the cause of the vibe is the rear drive shaft and they are going to replace it. I cant believe that they would not just rebalance the current drive shaft, but what do I care its free..

Anyone else having any vibration on their 06 Ram’s?

 

Come to think of it. I had a passenger feel a viberation from the back seat when I had the truck up to 100mph. I've got your exact truck in black.

 

Mine was a rhythmic vibration. It would go for two or three seconds without it and then it was a vibration for about two seconds.. I would really notice it when I mashed on the gas. I would feel it for the first few seconds of accleration..

 

My new truck just started making some kind of 1-2 second vibration. I plan on taking it in soon. I will hopefully get it fixed and post the results. Thanks

I noticed some vibration in my truck... Then one day I was doing a breakstand and the transfer case and front differential exploded. Should not have happened, I was only up to maybe 2000rpm... I wasn't pushing the truck harder than it should have handled...

 

You were trying to do a power brake and the front diff exploded? You actually admit to the rest of the world that you were locked in 4wd and trying to power brake? And that grenading a t-case came as a suprise???

My 06 2500 QC Hemi Sport 4x4 also has a vibration when I hit/pass 1200 RPM. It lasts about 1-2 seconds. I plan on taking it in to the dealer to figure it out. Anyone find out what is causing their truck to vibrate? Any info could help, thanks.
