True dual exhaust on a 03 5.7 hemi
So as we know the 03 5.7s have 1 o2 before and 2 o2 after the cat. Im going to true dual it with no meow's. Offroad use only i swear.
Since the precat o2 actually does something for fuel adjustments (from my research) will it be ok to have that o2 in just 1 pipe? The second o2 will have a spacer put in before the o2 is screwed in to prevent a code. From what i understand the post cat o2 just monitors cat efficiency but will throw the a/f mix into open loop if it senses a bad cat which will be remedied by the spacer.
Thoughts?

did that fix it?
3 days ive been searching all Dodge ram forums and I still dont have an answer. Does anyone know how picky o2 sensors are about a/f ratio at least? I wonder if its sensitive enough to know if only 1 bank is being read
