Projector Headlights...
These lights are simple to install, as is removing the stock headlights.
Bare in mind the stock headlights are held in place by 3 bolts. Two in the very front next to the opening where the grill sits. There is one more bolt underneath each light.
These bolts are connected below the orange reflector area in the stock housing. You can reach it by inserting a screwdriver and / or socket adapted between the housing and the bumper.. Just look underneath the stock housing and you will notice the black bolt.
When removing the stock lights be careful not to break the prongs that hold the stock lights in place. Just incase you ever want to put the stock ones back on for any reason.
There after use a circuit tester to be safe and cut two of the three wires connected to you your orange turn signal lights. One is power, One is negative and the third wire I believe is for the blinking of the turn signals. Just ignore that one and stick to the (-) and the (+).
NEVER EVER connect halo rings straight to a battery to test them - THEY WILL BURN OUT!
Being the fact that most halos are really just LEDS attached to a plastic or glass ring.
After you make the adequate connections and the halo rings work. Be sure that you protect those connections from moisture. I used professional electrical tape. Its like a weaved cloth type tape. Simply connected the projector beams to your existing headlight connection plug and replace the screws to the housing.
If you find your projector lights are not that bright, merely upgrade the fog light bulbs to the sylvania 9006 bright white bulbs. These will even out the lack of light.
I also hear that you can swap out the bulbs from the projector housings with better ones. I am about to do this next week. I will take a pic of my housings on my truck. I just installed them today.
Pros: They are very stylish and eye catching. Both at night and during the day!
Cons: Not as bright as stock lights, but simple bulb upgrades will make up for it.
Well best of luck, I will be doing a whole write up later on once I change the projector bulbs with something brighter.
