Newbie 2006 Ram Sport owner
Newbie here, I have been reading many of the forms threads over the last 2 days, plenty of great info and pictures. I just bought my Black 2006 Dodge Ram Sport 4x2 this weekend and love it.
Plans for the truck are as follows:
1) lower it about 2-4 inches (I don't want the truck so low I can't go over a speed bump, but it sits way to high for me stock. I just got rid of my little rice burner and it is a big shock being so high to the ground.)
2) 22 or 24 inch rims or just a lower profile. It came stock with 20 inch (not sure what looks better, any suggestions ?)
3) Replace the 7 speakers for the stereo and putting amps/subs in (I plan on keeping the head unit for the stereo, I just want it to sound good for me, not for the person down the block. Also keeping the head unit will not tempt thieves to steal it)
4) Replace intake and exhaust, chip program
5) Replace grill and put on ground effects
Anyone have any suggestions ?
Thanks for all the support and info.

I wanted a sport 4X4 when I went to get my truck, but they were not out yet.. What motor did you get? About lowering it, you will have to wait a few more months before the aftermarket jumps on board of our new suspension.. Good luck, I am sure you will be happy with your truck..
