Okay I finally picked up my parts to start the upgrade!

Here are the numbers and prices from my local Dodge dealer.

Telematics module 5064013AV $219.70
Rear view Mirror 5064017AE $180.70
Wiring Harness (Mirror to dash harness) 56051317AC $31.98


I'm going to begin the install tonight

I have all my hardware installed tonight.....however I see no plugs into the factory harness.

Looks like there is progress in an aftermarket harness being made to complete this upgrade

Looks like I'm going to gather all the parts I need to make my own wiring harness.

Should be fun it doesn't look too complicated

hey, I've been watching all this stuff from afar and I'm very much interested in doing the same thing to my 2005 Power Wagon. To me it seems very complicated and risky to do myself. Making up a wiring harness is what really has me worried the most. If you could please contact me as soon as you've done it. Please take lots of pictures. Thanks!

I finished my harness and installed it today, everything works perfectly!! I now have factory Uconnect in my 06 ram.....

Did you Ram have a connection for the mirror/mirror plug? Was the mirror plug on the passenger side or driver side?
