2006 Power Wagon exhaust
So last night I was driving my step-dads company 2006 Power Wagon, and I must say "Pretty Sweet!!" I'm not a fan of the new body style, but something about those 33" A/T's, and winch hanging out the front, looks mean. Anyway, as soon as I started it, I could tell it sounded a little meaner than my '05 Laramie (Hemi... of course). By the time I drove it was too dark out to climb underneath and see what may have been different from the exhaust, but I'm curious if any of you have a 2006, 2500 Ram, and know if the exhaust is different than a 2005, 1500 Ram. I'm thinking that there may not be a resonator (I still have not removed mine), or something. Anyway, it was a pretty cool truck, and would have loved to take it offroad, haha.
I have an '05 2500 SLT and a buddy has an '05 Power Wagon - neither had resonators from the factory, perhaps that's the difference ? (i.e. 2500's have no resonator) - just guessing as I've not crawled under many...
Agree. Aside from suspension upgrades and axles ratios, there is not a difference mechanically from 2500 & Powerwagon. Powerwagon though is closer to 3500 series in sprngs, etc. but hemi & exhaust should be the same.
