Ok, after driving a new 2006 Power Wagon, I got to thinking... the new trucks have the one piece key with integrated fob. I'm curious if you could buy the new style keyfob with key, and program it to work in a 2005 Ram? Any thoughts on this. I know its kinda dumb, but was curious if it would work. I know that the new Mopar cars (300, Magnum) and durango all use the "CAN" system, but wasn't sure if the new rams did also. Thanks for any input.

 

I dunno if they'd work or not. They're expensive. Plus, I don't like them, they're tooooooo big. Give me a regular key and a fob anyday.
