BRAKES

I have an 05 Ram 1500 4.7 V8
its has 16000 miles on ity and the rear brakes seem to squeel every time
I hit the brakes any ideas.

At 16K your rear brakes should not be wore, unless you are power braking, which could cause other issues as well. With that said you could still have something in the pads that are causing the noise.

Remove caliper and pads -- clean all of it very well with brake cleaner and stiff brush, especially the backs of the pads. Try some of the blue disk brake anti-squeal spray stuff (kind of like spray glue) on the back of the pads, and reassemble.

My brakes get noisey if I got a while without cleaning my wheels. Once I get everything hosed down real good and get rid of all the brake dust the noise goes away. On my nissan the dust was ridiculous and would get noisey after like 3 days if I didnt hose them down.
