I have 38000 mi. on my 03 2500 ram. Tires are still in pretty good cond.(mich)very happy with the tire wear,prob. will replace with the same tires.
My wifes 02 expedition 58000 miles,now on its third set

 

I actually hate the stock Michelin tires but they do wear well. Then again I think they are something like 60k tires which means a hard rubber. What are you putting on the Ford to make them wear out so quickly? If uneven wear is your problem, you need to do an alignment......

 

what tires do you recomend on the ram 17 in.
the tires on the ford are goodyear ,the same as the stock ones.
