Hey guys i just bought an 02 qc ram and the dealer gave me a new key fab, telling me the old one was missing and I cant seem to program it. Ive replaced the batteries and still nothing. Is there anywhere on the truck where it would say if ive acctually got the keyless entry? Cause ive been thinking that I dont and if I do does anyone have any suggestions? Thanx

If you do not have the original key fob you must have a dealer program the key fob first. After you have 1 key fob programmed then you can program the remaining ones from instructions in your owners manual. Dealers have to program the original witha computer.

 

I have an SLT model and mine doesnt even have the transmitter for the power locks. The dealer thought I did though until they ran the VIN and saw that it wasnt installed. Have them run your VIN to make sure you even have the transmitter for the key fob before you have them do anything else.
