Please tell me what you think...I gotta ream the dealer!!!
I had the same problem with the radio settings going back to default. My subwoofer would also cut in and out all of the time. I checked the amp that powered the subs and it wasn't getting any volts. This went on for about a week. So i thought it was the battery. So i went go go buy another battery but the truck wouldn't start, the battery was dead. So i eventually got the new battery and the radio stopped resetting itself. Turns out the ground wire on the amp had become loose causing the subs to cut in and out. It was just a big coincidence that these two problems happened at the same time but was caused by different problems. So, I'd say check your grounds and battery.
cool...thanks man...
yea im guessing my grounds might be loose.
but listen to this.....my friend has one of those diagnostic computers he picked up from pep boyz for about 200 bucks.
we had hooked it up to my cable port underneath the steering wheel (where you download a programmer too)
and when the truck was turned off...it read "low voltage"

While you're in there checking stuff, check as many plug connectors that you can for looseness. I was looking at the FSM and it looks like there is 5 fuses that feed into the instrument cluster, and a feed from the front controller module. Also, have you been into the PCM at all? Possibly a connector on it came loose.
