Supercharger in a 3.7 Magnum
I want to put a supercharger in my 3.7 V-6 Magnum Ram1500. The compression ratio is 9.1:1 is it safe to do so without changing the whole block? I want my truck to be ready to beat a Acura RSX-S and a Scion TC. If I do manage to put in the supercharger how long will my engine last if I do actually race it?
why don't you just up to a hemi engine? maybe im wrong i do not know the specs on the 3.7...but i saw a post from a guy who claimed to have a s/c on his 3.7 and he said he keeps up with hemis...might want to see how much those options cost?
Yeah, why not jump up to the Hemi, get more power and torque, and still have a warranty? Plus, you can tow all your toys without worrying about your engine grenading.
