Default Supercharger in a 3.7 Magnum

I want to put a supercharger in my 3.7 V-6 Magnum Ram1500. The compression ratio is 9.1:1 is it safe to do so without changing the whole block? I want my truck to be ready to beat a Acura RSX-S and a Scion TC. If I do manage to put in the supercharger how long will my engine last if I do actually race it?

Yeah, why not jump up to the Hemi, get more power and torque, and still have a warranty? Plus, you can tow all your toys without worrying about your engine grenading.
