Default New Tires

I'm looking for the cheapest biggest all terrain or mud tire I can find. I currently have 265/70/17's. What's the biggest size I can go to with everything stock, and not have rubbing? Also what tires out there do you recommend for me? I want a mud tire, but it's hard to find one for a 17inch rim for under $200.

I think 285/70/17 is the biggest you can go without any modification. A local tire dealer quoated me a price of $189.00 for the cooper discover stt and its a good looking tire. Also I think maxxis tires are usually cheap.

I just put a set of 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Graplers about 500 miles ago. No complaints yet, and only spent $177 each including installation.
